Active With Torrid

For about a year now I have made working out a habit. No, I am not obsessed with working out. And, no, I don’t always find it enjoyable. But, I do find it incredibly beneficial to my overall wellbeing. I am a much happier and positive person when I know I have pushed myself to sweat a little. I have found that it literally does not matter what you do, but having your own movement routine is all that matters. What I mean by movement routine is that you gotta have a daily system where you set aside 30-60 minutes of moving your body and sweating it up. For some, it’s a walk, a HIIT workout, or a dance party. I am no doctor, but I find that having your own movement routine helps you feel better and more productive throughout the day.

I am so excited to team up with Torrid on this post and give you all some major outfit inspo when it comes to your movement routine. I am sure you’ve heard it before, but having cute workout clothes always helps when it comes to working out. I am not color-crazy when it comes to gym clothes, so I prefer to stick with blacks, greys and whites. However, I love a pop of color in a workout pant, a jacket, a top or tank. These pants hit the spot. Let’s also not forget to mention that activewear is the perfect solution for days when you just don’t want to give a care and want to wear what you want. So, whether you’re working on your movement routine or you’re coffee shop chilling, this looks for you.

About The Fit

Yoga Pants: As a size 2x, I decided to get 1x in these pants. For me, when working out, I don’t like my pants slipping off of my waist. So, I usually go down a size because I know they will stretch with wear. If you are like that, too, I suggest going a size down.

Top and Long-Line Hoodie: All true to size (I wear 2x).
