A Trip to Makers Mart
Hey guys! Happy Monday! Today I am thrilled to share my experience from this past weekend at Makers Mart.
What is it? Taken from their website, Makers Mart is “is a quarterly handmade shopping event and bazaar currently held in Sacramento, California featuring local artists and crafters. The ladies who founded Makers Mart are crafters/artists themselves- connoisseurs of anything handmade, vintage, and uniquely reconstructed.”
As much as I love big brands, I love shopping local brands and boutiques. And, if there is any place that has plenty of that, it’s Sacramento. I am biased, but Sacramento is an innovative platform for people to create amazing products and services, grow their ideas, collaborate with others, and much more. Mixing pieces in my outfits that come from retailers like Nordstrom and ASOS with products from the most random of places (For ex: an awesome pair of sunnies that I got from a local vinyl store), is something I really enjoy doing.
My experience at Makers Mart included incredibly talented people showcasing a wide range of products, from jewelry to bicycle seats to recycled bluetooth speakers to dairy free gelato. Take a look at some shots from my day and some pitstops I made along the way =)
Thank you guys for reading! See you all on Friday <3
