Spring With Torrid
I am so excited to share this post with you guys today! Torrid recently reached out to me to see if I wanted to partner up with them and give you guys some outfit inspo for this spring. Of course, I said yes because I love the brand and everything it stands for. This is the look I created and it is absolutely perfect for brunch with your friends or, for those of you observing, for the Easter holiday this weekend.
Springtime is the perfect time to layer the lighter pieces in your closet. When I saw this eyelet bomber jacket on the Torrid site, I immediately said “I need you in my life. Stat.” Anything eyelet is a staple for Spring and Summer. Put it on a bomber jacket and I am sold. Perfect for the light layering that I mentioned. I could easily wear this jacket on top of a long sleeve top along with a midi skirt, but I opted to pair it with this chiffon cami. I loved that the cami was double-layered because it made it non-see through. Pairing the cami and bomber jacket together was a match made in heaven because not only was the fit on point, but it was light and airy. Speaking of the fit, I was on cloud nine when I tried everything from Torrid on because every item fit me like a glove. These jeans, in particular, are like a little hug for my body. They’re high-waisted and accentuate your body in all the right places. You’ve probably noticed that a style preference of mine is to cuff my jeans. Sometimes cuffing a certain pair of jeans doesn’t look good, but I loved how it looked on these dark wash jeans. Now, my favorite part: SHOES. These leopard print calf hair block heels are, in my opinion, the most approachable way to wear animal print in the spring and summer. You guys will be seeing them a lot! I’ve also told you guys that I have wide feet so I was thrilled to see that the fit on these were wide. I finished this look off by pairing it with this calf hair black clutch that is a staple item for any closet, any season.
